L.A.R.Y.

L.A.R.Y. is just one of the many Blue Herons who live along the Los Angeles River. There are over 250 species of birds living in and along the L.A. River.

But the Blue Heron is the river's official mascot and its likeness can be seen all over the city on river crossing signs.
